  8. --- The Addams Family Hard Disk Installer ---

  10. This installer requires the original Addams Family disk from Ocean
  11.  
  12. The HD-Patched game will need 2Mb of memory.
  13.  
  14. It has been successfuly tested on a vanillia A1200/020/2MBChip
  15. and on a A1200/060/50MHz/18MB.
  16. There's no need to alter any of the caches on your system, nor
  17. the VBR. However, there may be problems with softkicked amigas.

  25. Read the file Addams.cheat for the cheat passwords.

  28. The game was also patched for A3000/A4000 users and a tooltype/argument allows
  29. you to force the game to run in PAL or NTSC (Kick2.0 only).

  31. You can modify the installer script to install disks from DF1:, DF2: or DF3: instead
  32. of DF0: by changing the unit in the disk2file arguments.

  34. If you find some bugs, or the game crashes, please e-mail me (specify your
  35. configuration).
  36. I'm also looking for people who could send me original disks for me to patch them
  37. for 680x0 or write HD-Installers (not for cracked versions. Don't ask.).

  45. This patch can be distributed freely, but I'd appreciate that you drop me a line
  46. if you include it in a coverdisk or PD collection.

  48. However, FFD (France Festival Distribution) is not allowed to include it in any
  49. of its PD disks (if you read usenet in fr.comp.sys.amiga, you'll know why).
  50. It's the only exception for the distribution.
